The first time I heard Bob speak was in London. I have never been a person who is easily convinced or a follower, but after that speech I was inspired. For the first time ever I had found someone that could convince me to walk over hot coals for a better future for all. I will never, ever forget the way he made me feel. It is thanks to Bob (as well as a couple of members of Bristol branch) that I became an activist and a fighter, wherever there is a fight to be found.
When I was young I always stuck up for the underdog, because it felt fair and just, Bob proved to me that I was right in my thinking.
RIP Bob, I will never forget what you did for me.
